-APE (alternative press expo) is THIS weekend,
nov 1st & 2nd,
i'll have a table there yet again.
i think my table # is 500 and, um... something.

-also i'm in "TULAY"
an awesome show with a bunch of flip artists!
taking place in SF on nov 22nd.

in other news...
-i'm currently up at the VERY new BEATROCK shop in long beach,
my friend just opened up his shop,
and well... it's freakin' awesome!
so go check it out,
see the art, and buy some gear!

-the new REVELATIONS POLITICAL PRINT artwork was published in MODERATE MAGAZINE!
it's a wonderful magazine a friend i know just started,
this is their very FIRST issue and my art is on one of the first pages.
you should pick up a copy,
and subscribe!

i don't even know if i've posted anything about that new poster series...
oops...
(sorry, with working on the Cheech & Chong animation and all, time is just a luxury i don't have as much of now a days... what?

essentially it is referencing that now FAMOUS shep piece of art with obama.
though it is politically themed and has undertones,
it is all about the character LOTAN from the Revelations books, and has little to nothing to do with the current election... or does it?
i have a limited print run available,
APE will be the one of the first places it goes public (for sale) and i only have so man,
not sure if i will even do a reprint.
but there will be some made available through the 'THEREDR.COM' site,
(which is about to get updated... finally)
i guess that's it for now...

is celebrating their 90th anniversary this saturday
in a home coming fashion
(homecoming without the football)
in conjunction they are releasing a 'Designs' book,
featuring artwork from a vast array of alumni
(including myself)
there will be a book signing this saturday:
I’d like to remind you that the book signing for Otis Designs is set for this Saturday, October 11th at the Goldsmith Campus in Westchester. The address is 9045 Lincoln Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90045. It will be from 12 to 2 PM under the Red Umbrellas in the grass area. That’s going to be next to the big tents and the Galef Building (the structure with what looks like corrugated metal siding).

the con was a blast this year!
and as usual it was exceedingly more crazy than the last.
really briefly:
great contacts were made and a lot of networking went on! the WB animation party was very kool with all their fancy vintage candy and snazzy gift bags, the potential jobs and employment in the film industry is very interesting (to say the least), hanging with the group of girls we have come to label the 'scruffy girls' was fun, the carving of design and characters into apples became an unsuspecting success! the articulated art show went so well they added another night, the first panel i was ever on went well and there was a great turnout! many books were sold and new fans recruited, and a great many idea stored away for the next one!
in other news the video from the SF artillery show has posted and here it is!
never you mind the lameness of my interview,
the other artists say some pretty good stuff.
lastly, the press telegram interview following me around at the comic-con should post pretty soon...
i'll have more on that at a later time.

it's already that time of the year?!?
yep,
leaving in the morning headed to set up my table in small press (S8). there will be some fresh and new stuff that has never been displayed at comic con before
(new post cards, prints, and a Revelations zero book which is essentially an introduction to the graphic novel book series).
i'm being followed around by Press-telegram at the event,
think they are doing an article on me or something...
also, i'll be on a panel sunday morning with CCAS (room 24 10:30-11:30am) it's my first time, so i hope they go easy on me.
lastly, i'm in another art show this weekend in down town san diego.
it's comic themed and is a benefit show for the chirstopher reeves foundation.
