yup, some how i got on a team!
i'm hoping i don't stink it up too much...
it's been a long while since i've gotten my dodge-game on.
some bands going to be playing too...
festivities start at 6pm (i think)

there is a benefit show in riverside

-SATURDAY-
i will be displaying my stuff at the BIOLA MEDIA CONFERENCE!!!
this year it will be at the CBS studio lot,
i've never been before and am super stoked!!!
also, saturday is FREE COMIC DAY
so, i'll have out my REVELATIONS PRELUDE BOOK 0
as for the Orange county group show at SINERGY,
the reception has been moved from this saturday may 3rd
to saturday may 24th.

just a quick update.
-the show in san diego was awesome!
met some great artists and there was a super great turnout! (pics to come later)
-as for the cannibal flower show,
it's tonight (the 26th)
so i wont be able to show,
cause i'm currently out of town.

-next wednesday i'll be in a dodge ball tournament.
-next saturday is FREE COMIC DAY so i SHOULD have a new revelations book out (a short prelude to book I dealing with some character back stories and the start of the war)
*not sure if the book will be available online, possibly i'll bundle it with book I... we'll see.*
-also, just got added to a group show in san diego for 944 magazine on the 8th of may (sounds like an awesome show by-the-way)

APRIL UPDATES 4.15.8 ok so here's the haps on the craps, a few changes and a few new additions:
SADLY... NO i will not be able to make it to the NY con this year. i know, it sucks. i'll have to miss it, yet again.
anyhow,
yes i'll be in the cannibal flower show (downtown LA) though i don't know if it will be on the 19th or the 26th just yet [stay tuned].
the "loft" show in san deigo is still on for the 24th.
AWESOMELY... YES i WILL be in the next spectrum book (spectrum 15)!!!
just got word from their site today. not sure just yet which pieces were selected (since i submitted several) and i'm still waiting on the official letter to arrive via mail, that will have all that information.
so, keep an eye out for the next spectrum book, sometime later this year.

on the REVELATIONS front:
i am working on a series of post cards that i'll be posting soon to get some feedback from YOU.
the series is titled "red lines" or "black stars & red stripes" and will have charcters from the book with political overtones.
Also, the 'book zero' i was working on for 'free comic day' has been evolving every time i sit down to work on it.
right now, it has turned into some kind of old 1800s newspaper clipping (basically headlines from events that take place immediately before Revelations book I, and will have many small articles and back stories of characters from the already published books). the idea is to generate interest for new readers and provide further set up and back story for the Revelations stuff that is already out there. it's a rather odd format and i don't think i've seen anyone else try this, but it should be relatively cheap to produce and i'm ALL about trying new creative tactics!

okay.
a bunch of stuff going on in April,
18th-20th there is an OUTSIDE chance i'll be going to the NY comic con.
if not then i will be showing some new pieces at the cannibal flower show in down town LA on the 19th
24th i will be in a group show at a loft in san diego
should be a pretty sweet show (the loft was designed by my friend tasso and it's a-maze-ing)
also, as far as a REVELATIONS update:
in light of the FREE COMIC DAY coming up in may
i will be releasing a 'zero book' for revelations,
basically a brief prelude to the first book,
i'll be posting new stuff for that as soon as there is something to post...
